A sewage treatment system similar to a septic tank system, but which uses an aerobic process for digestion rather than just the anaerobic process used in septic systems.

Unlike the traditional septic system, the aerobic treatment system produces a high quality secondary effluent, which can be sterilized and used for surface irrigation.

The ATS process generally consists of the following phases:

• Pre-treatment stage to remove large solids and other undesirable substances from the wastewater; this stage acts much like a septic system, and an ATS may be added to an existing septic tank to further process the primary effluent.
• Aeration stage, where the aerobic bacteria digest the biological wastes in the wastewater.
• Settling stage to allow any undigested solids to settle. This forms a sludge which must be periodically removed from the system.
• Disinfecting stage, where chlorine or similar disinfectant is mixed with the water, to produce an antiseptic output.

System supplied is pressure switch regulated hydro-fore system. System is designed to work fully automatic with two pumps, one working one standby. Each pump out-put is matching the full load demand at peak hours.

System is provided with pressure switches which will detect the demand for the water in overhead tanks and kick in the master pump. The standby pump will remain standby until the running pump is capable of satisfying the demand. For some reason if the master pump is not able to cope up with the demand the slave pump will kick and start pumping. As soon as the demand is met the slave pump will cutoff first and then the master pump.

In this case the system has been specially designed to fill up multiple overhead tanks. The system will detect the demand from the overhead tank and keep them filled up at any given time.

The working range of the line pressure can be set to suit the requirement.

Special Features: The system offers auto standby, dry run protection - against low water level in tanks (in case of negative suction head), single phasing protection, overload protection, fault indicator, volt and ammeter.
